  1. The melter must concentrate on monitoring the aluminum level, cannot leave the site, and cannot do irrelevant work;
  2. The reversing speed of the forklift must be slow and steady, and follow the instructions of the melter;
  3. The liquid level of the scooping hole must be greater than 50mm from the plane of the furnace platform of the holding furnace, draw the aluminum liquid limit height scale mark on the outer wall of the holding furnace, and make a special tool for inspection;
  4. If the scoop opening and the furnace lining are found to be broken, report to the equipment supervisor in time;
  5. Regularly clean the slagging and scum of the holding furnace to prevent the liquid level from being unstable when adding aluminum;
  6. Leave a safe passage near the holding furnace

Emergency countermeasures:

  1. The forklift driver stopped dumping materials, and the surrounding personnel immediately evacuated, cut off the water, electricity, and gas switches of the equipment (including the die-casting machine and the holding furnace), and reported to the supervisor at the same time;
  2. Under the condition of ensuring personal safety (there is no molten aluminum overflow in the scoop mouth, the molten aluminum on the ground basically solidifies), clean up the molten aluminum overflowing the ground, and clean up the site.
  3. Use the preheated aluminum spoon to scoop out the molten aluminum from the scooping port to a safe level, and check that the electrical operation of the equipment is normal before it can be turned on for normal production.

Source of accident: b. Leakage of aluminum on furnace wall and bottom

Preventive measures:

  1. If the furnace wall loses a block, report to the equipment supervisor in time;
  2. If smoke is found on the furnace wall and bottom, and the paint on the furnace shell is blackened and smoked at high temperature, immediately notify the equipment supervisor for inspection and confirmation. When there is a hidden danger of aluminum leakage, stop the furnace immediately, scoop out the molten aluminum and wait for repair;
  3. After the oven is completed, the first time the aluminum liquid is added is 1/3 of the furnace capacity. After observing that the furnace body is normal, the feeding can be performed normally.

Emergency countermeasures:

  1. Under the condition of ensuring safety, immediately use tools to push the dry slag box to the place where the aluminum leaks, and report to the supervisor for disposal;
  2. Cut off the water, electricity and gas switches of the equipment (including die casting machine and holding furnace); use dry powder fire extinguisher or dry sand to extinguish the surrounding fire. When the molten aluminum is solidified, disperse the leaked aluminum into aluminum blocks
  3. Open the furnace cover by crane, forklift the empty turnover package, scoop the molten aluminum to the turnover package and transfer it to other holding furnaces, and stop the furnace for maintenance;
  4. Under the condition of ensuring personal safety, clean up the molten aluminum spilling on the ground.

6. Splash Of Molten Aluminum

Source of accident: a. Splashing of molten aluminum caused by explosion of water pipes and oil pipes of die-casting machine

Preventive measures:

  1. Check the water pipes and pipe joints of the die-casting machine every shift. If water or oil seepage is found in the water pipes, oil pipes, and pipe joints, report for repairs in time.
  2. When water pipes and oil pipes are found to be leaking, turn off the equipment water valve and main power switch in time, and shut down for maintenance.

Emergency countermeasures:

  1. Immediately turn off the main water source switch of a single die-casting machine. When the oil pipe bursts, immediately shut down and turn off the equipment's main power switch.
  2. Water splashing into molten aluminum may cause molten aluminum to splash and explode, and oil leakage may cause fire. In the case of a small amount of splashing, the cover of the holding furnace can be covered under the prerequisite of ensuring personal safety, but when the water has splashed into the molten aluminum, it should not be near the holding furnace or ladle. Prevent molten aluminum from splashing and hurting people. 2. The personnel should immediately evacuate and evacuate, and immediately notify the equipment supervisor and department security personnel;
  3. After the water pipes and oil pipes are closed, the molten aluminum can enter the accident area without splashing and no explosion hazard.

Source of accident: b. Leakage on the roof of the factory

Preventive measures:

  1. Regularly inspect and repair the roof. If a small amount of rain is found to leak, report to the Infrastructure Department for repair in time.
  2. The molten aluminum transfer forklift is prohibited from driving on leaky roads.
  3. When the top of the holding furnace and melting furnace leaks, please take measures to avoid rain and water in time. Do not allow water to enter the molten aluminum in the furnace.

Emergency countermeasures:

  1. When the roof leaks, the ground on which the aluminum liquid forklift is driving is immediately isolated as a no-go sign, and the forklift is driven in a detour;
  2. When the roof leaks in the exposed parts of the holding furnace and melting furnace, the work must be stopped immediately. Under the premise of ensuring personal safety, rain-proof measures shall be taken after the cover is covered. When necessary, if possible (with adequate rain protection) When taking measures), use a driving vehicle to move the holding furnace to a safe area with no rain leakage;
  3. When rainwater leaks into the molten aluminum and splashes, personnel should quickly avoid it;
  4. Report to the Infrastructure Department to repair the leaky roof.

The source of the accident: c. The tool is operated with water

Preventive measures:

Tools and accessories are not allowed to contact molten aluminum without preheating and drying, so as to avoid explosion of molten aluminum:

  1. The melting tools and auxiliary tools must be fully preheated and dried before use. Before use, cold tools and painted tools should be placed 50-100mm above the molten aluminum level for more than 2 minutes, or placed on high-temperature hot slag for more than 10 minutes, and only when there is no moisture or steam coming out, can they be contacted slowly Aluminum liquid.
  2. The preheating operation must be performed only when the tools and auxiliary devices are free of dripping water. It is strictly forbidden to bake over the molten aluminum when the tool is dripping.
  3. When there is no high-temperature aluminum liquid or high-temperature aluminum slag preheating, a liquefied gas torch can be used for preheating operation, the operating tool is preheated for about 5 minutes, and the ladle is preheated for 1 hour.

Emergency countermeasures:

  1. Take the tool away quickly, make an emergency escape, report to the supervisor, and deal with it after the molten aluminum has stopped;
  2. People around leave the accident area quickly.

Source of accident: d. Equipment maintenance water splash

Preventive measures:During equipment maintenance, it is not allowed to rinse the equipment with water to prevent water from splashing into the molten aluminum of the holding furnace and causing the molten aluminum to explode.

Emergency countermeasures:

  1. Quickly turn off the water main switch of the relevant die-casting machine, make emergency avoidance, and notify the department safety officer in time, and deal with it after the molten aluminum is stationary.
  2. People around leave the accident area quickly.
