  • Cooling properties of stamping drawing oil: There are many reasons for the heat generated by stamping. The friction heat between the mold and the material and the heat of plastic deformation of the material are all expressed in the form of processing heat. Especially when processing parts with complex shapes or materials with high plastic deformation resistance, the heat generated is greater. When this processing is continuously performed for a long time, if this heat is not removed or suppressed, the heat will accumulate on the mold to make the mold The temperature continues to rise, the mold expands further, the gap between the punch and the female mold will decrease, the friction and the stress applied to the material will increase, and the local high temperature will cause the lubricating film to rupture, resulting in sintering, straining and Failure such as rupture. In this case, the use of water-soluble stamping oil can suppress the heat generated, especially in the fields of high-speed continuous motion processing and high-speed continuous automatic processing, as well as stainless steel deep drawing processing or high-speed processing of cans, etc., and more use of good cooling Water-capacity stamping oil agent.
  • The rust resistance of stamping drawing oil: After stamping, the parts should generally be left intact for a long time. In order to prevent rust during placement, drawing oil is required to have good rust resistance. Because the lubricating oil used in press processing has strong adsorption and maintains an oil film that is difficult to break on the metal surface, it generally has an anti-rust effect. However, the size of the effect is different according to the nature of the lubricant and the processing conditions, and also according to the environment where the parts are placed. Therefore, when the environment is harsh and the storage time is long, the oil has higher requirements for rust resistance.
  • The weldability of drawing oil with oil: In order to simplify the process and improve production efficiency, the drawing oil is required to have the performance of welding with oil without cleaning. Sometimes due to the adhesion of the drawing oil, the welding place rusts. Some oils generate harmful gases during welding and affect welding strength. The above problems do not occur when welding with oil after stamping, which is very important for drawing oil.
  • Degreasing property of stamping drawing oil (easy to clean): When drawing oil attached to the stamping parts, it is cleaned by using detergents and washing methods that can be washed, the washing cost is low, and it takes a short time It can be degreased, which is also one of the important characteristics. The stamping parts are not cleaned, which will affect the painting and electroplating of the subsequent process.
  • The operability of stamping drawing oil: before stamping processing, the operation of painting drawing oil on the processed plate requires time and labor, which detracts from production efficiency. Therefore, this operation is easy to carry out and becomes a requirement for drawing oil. A nature. Especially for large-size parts, this property is particularly important. From the point of view of operability, low-viscosity drawing oil should be used as much as possible. 

For the stamping process, a lot of heat will be generated during the stamping process, and the heat can deform the workpiece, which seriously affects the accuracy of the workpiece. Therefore, when selecting stamping oil, not only the lubrication and cooling performance must be considered, but also the extreme pressure and wear resistance of the stamping oil. If the selected cutting extreme pressure and wear resistance is too low, the material may cause poor forming effects. Therefore, stamping oil with good extreme pressure and anti-wear properties is used for fine stamping forming or ultra-precision stamping forming processing.

In the selection of stamping oil, in addition to the lubricity and cooling properties of the stamping oil, the rust resistance, cost and easy maintenance of the stamping oil must also be considered. Stamping oil is easy to choose base oil with relatively low viscosity to add anti-friction additives, which can achieve lubrication and anti-friction, but also has good cooling and easy filtering. However, the problem of stamping oil is low flash point, high temperature during stamping and forming, easy to deform, high risk factor, and fast volatilization, the user's use cost is correspondingly high, so try to choose compression and wear resistance when conditions permit High-performance stamping oil.

The use and maintenance of aluminum stamping oil

  • Aluminum stamping oil should be stored in a cool and dry place and keep the container tightly closed to avoid mixing of water and impurities, and the storage temperature should not exceed 60°C.
